Monstrous Feminine Alert! I kind of love Fiona Staples’s design for the Stalk, one of the freelance assassins from Brian K. Vaughan’s Saga. I love the Venus De Milo echo, I love the way her insectoid eyes feel like a weird distortion effect. I like the backstory between her and the Will—who is our ostensible Han Solo—and the humanoid male being in love with a non-humanoid female, which is pretty rare in science fiction, as opposed to its opposite.
