Doop.
This was enjoyable, and concludes the first arc after all the strange pacing that probably comes from too many characters. I liked it. It gave me a nice jolt seeing (1) Zatanna and Shade in the same space! and (2) Zatanna totally kissing Shade to get his head back into the game. I never in a million years would have ever expected to see those two characters—two of my hands down favourites—in the same book, let alone having a saucy moment. It’s like a very specific form of fan service just for me.
I still don’t get why the fuck I’m supposed to care about Mindwarp, though.
So they go out again but I know that they won’t find me a body. That’s for me to do. The truth is I just don’t like them being around me when I’m like this. So I move my body through nearby streets, searching, waiting for a tragedy that will give me hope, that will give me a body. When my mind returns I find that I have changed into the armchair again. It’s not as bad as the wall.

Worth your time. Rich jet-setter Christopher Chance made his money by assuming other people’s identities to stand in for them when assassins are after them (or other reasons), and consequently develops problems extracting himself from their identities.
It’s textbook Peter Milligan, of course, and is a reboot for an old Silver Age comic book character.
Imagine you can only have full-on sex while assuming someone else’s identity and when you try to engage as yourself you can only watch…
